It was a great honor for Condray Design Group to receive the “Best in City Center” Award from the 2022 International Interior Design Association Texas-Oklahoma Chapter Design Competition for the University Medical Center Physicians New Family and Children’s Clinic.
University Medical Center recognized the importance of providing the developing community with a new location to deliver additional health services to children and adults as the city’s population expands towards its southwest area. The key focus of the designers’ intent was to create an innovative treatment center that would host two self-sustaining health clinics and serve diverse age brackets while functioning as one cohesive facility.
The brightly illuminated, multi-colored glass installed at the entry and waiting area is the hallmark feature of the facility. The colorful glass infuses a whimsical theme with dynamic yet novel designs. When combined with light sensor-controlled roller shades, this creative element allows for increase in staff efficiency and productivity while implementing daylight harvesting strategies.
